MCCC GP Training strives to offer quality medical education and training to equip GPs with the best skills to serve our communities for the future. Our Advanced Skills Program offers Rural GP registrars and Fellowed GPs the opportunity to pursue areas of special interest and build or extend procedural skills that are vital to rural general practice.

These 12-month posts are an essential component of the Victorian Rural Generalist Program and successful applicants will be Rural Generalists and can expect to be located in a rural community the year after completing the post where they can consolidate their skills.

What’s the application process?

You can contact your MCCC REAPS Coordinator to discuss your career plans and to hear about the many benefits of joining the Rural Generalist Pathway to Fellowship.
