Visiting services available at the practice include a Dietitian, Diabetes Nurse Educator, Psychologist and Paediatricians.
The practice has sufficient after hours/urgent arrangements procedures in place, with some our doctors sharing an on-call roster at the hospital. There is a Home Visits policy and procedure in place and our doctors support the Aged Care Clinics in place with both Yarrawonga Health Aged Care and Woods Point Aged Care.

SKIN CHECK CLINICS
All of our doctors at YDMG are all able to perform general skin checks but Dr Murali Ooruthiran and Dr Kyaw Lynn have a specific interest and extended training in this area.
1 hour full body Mole Map Scan using our state of the art equipment and machines.
YDMG have 2 trained GP Obstetricians, Dr Tania Jones and Dr Murali Ooruthiran.
There are several options for antenatal and in hospital care.
We provide prenatal (before pregnancy/planning pregnancy), antenatal (during pregnancy), and post natal care.
YDMG have several of our experienced GP’s with a special interest in diabetes care.
YDMG has an on-site Diabetic Educator Ms Janet Lagstrom and Dietitian, Daniel Thompson.
YDMG provides the complete range of childhood immunisations as set out in the Australian Childhood Immunisation Schedule. A number of our nurses are fully accredited immunisation providers.
All of the GP’s at YDMG have had training in mental health issues. All are able to work with you to provide treatment goals and management plans. YDMG also has a Visiting Psychologist who works from our clinic weekly, alongside our GPs and nurses.
MINOR PROCEDURES AND SURGERY
YDMG doctors undertake a range of minor procedures and surgery in our purpose-built procedure room. These include:
• Removal of lesions
• IUD insertion and removal
• Implanon insertion and removal
• Suturing of lacerations
• Removal of foreign bodies
• Skin biopsy
• Treatment of warts, corns and ingrown toenails
• Basic fractures with plastering
CERVICAL SCREENING CLINIC
YDMG run a Cervical Screening Clinic weekly. Our trained nurses run this clinic, supervised by a senior doctor.
WOMEN’S HEALTH CLINICS
All female doctors provide a privately billed Women’s Health Clinic which can be used to discuss contraception, pre-pregnancy planning, menopausal symptoms, cervical screening smears or any female health concern.
CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT
The Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program works to engage with GPs, AHPs, practice nurses and practice staff to enhance chronic disease management and optimise preventative health strategies.
Under certain circumstances, home visits can be arranged through our nursing staff, such as for Palliative Care patients.
WORKCOVER / TAC
We provide a complete service in all aspects of Workcover & TAC.
YDMG is a purpose-built facility and co-located with us are Podiatrist, Pharmacy, Dentist, Radiology and Pathology.
