Supervisor Special Interests
Our Supervisor is a VMO GP Obstetrician at Wodonga Hospital. She enjoys caring for pregnant women and young families.
Dr Kondappan is passionate about teaching, and is actively involved in teaching medical students and registrars
Albury – Wodonga has an average of 1800 births a year. The GP Obstetrician is first on call for the labour ward.
Dr Kondappan is supported by Dr Sumit Kamra. Dr Kamra fellowed in 2019. He has a special interest in ENT and enjoys teaching .
General Facilities/ Services
We are a new practice. We have been up and running for the last eighteen months. We take pride in our team of doctors, nurses and admin staff. We have rapidly grown to a current base of over 4,000 patients, mostly young families . Being a small practice we offer a very welcoming and family oriented environment for patients and that has been our strength and the big reason behind our success. As a registrar of this practice you will be busy, but we can assure you of a very warm and welcoming team.

Dr Priya Kondappan is a VMO GP Obstetrician at the Wodonga Hospital.
Alongside managing the labour ward, as a VMO she is responsible for supervising and teaching the GP Obstetric registrar. Albury – Wodonga has an average of 1800 births a year, and the GP Obstetrician is first on call for the labour ward.
GP Advanced Skills opportunities
We are lucky to live in an area where we can make use of a lot of local attractions. We are only 1 and 1/2 hours from the snowfields and as we are situated along the Murray River and near the Hume Dam, we have water reservoirs for your summer recreational activities – skiing, fishing, general boating and jet skis.
You will experience beautiful autumn changes, only a maximum of an hours drive from the famous award winning Parker’s Pies, the Beechworth Bakery and Lolly Shoppe. There are boutiques wineries dotted everywhere around us, and last but not least having access to two universities, Catholic schools and State schools.
We have parks dedicated to multicultural days where everyone is invited at attend. We have walking tracks, bicycle tracks, and plenty of gyms dedicated to your fitness.
There are two Universities locally, Charles Sturt University in Thurgoona and La Trobe University in Wodonga, as well as the UNSW School of Rural Health situated at the Albury Hospital. There are a large number of Catholic and public schools for you to choose from.
