The Mildura and Sunraysia region is respected for its wines and local produce and is located on the Murray River. Mildura has a diverse cultural identity and is a thriving regional centre. Mildura and the surrounding Sunraysia district have a population of over 65,000.
The Lime Medical Clinic is a well-established Accredited Clinic in Mildura for over 25 years and has recently undergone a recent renovation and expansion. We are a computerised practice using Best Practice with 10 consulting rooms, 4 Allied Health Rooms a well equipped multi-bed treatment room and Nursing Consult area, as well as onsite Pathology. Practice hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5 pm and we also run a single Doctor Clinic on Saturday Mornings from 9am – 11am which is decided by a shared roster. We are also located centrally and in close proximity to the Mildura Base Hospital, the Mildura Private Hospital, the Murray Primary Health Care Network, Sunraysia Community Health, and Aboriginal Health Services.
Currently 6 doctors are supported by a Practice Manager, experienced administration staff and a team of practice nurses – 5 Registered Nurses. Two of these are accredited Pap nurses and 2 are also Accredited Nurse Immunisers.
We also have 2 Clinical Psychologists and one Dietitian as part of our Allied Health team. We also run a Women’s Health Clinic once a week with our Accredited Pap and Sexual Health Nurse.

At least one to 2 supporting RN on per day, some of our busier GP Load days we have 3. Nurses support with regard to our GPMP/TCA appointments Health Assessments and the DVA CVC Program.

Dr Dyson-Berry did his initial medical qualification in England before immigrating to Australia. He is currently the sole Practice Principal at the Lime Medical Clinic Mildura and Lime Medical Wentworth and has practiced in Mildura since 1987. John is married with 4 children and he has interests in Flying (with a Private Pilot’s Licence) and in Travel and reading.
Dr Dyson-Berry’s long list of credentials are the following:-

He also is a Visiting GP for Coomealla Aboriginal Health Corporation and at East Brunswick Medical Centre.
He has a keep interested in Women’s health and has just extensive past experience in IUD insertion. He has recently spent some time refreshing his knowledge with regard to Mirena and spent time our local Staff Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at MBH.
He has started to offer this service to women through the Mildura Clinic in hope that this may reduce some of the wait time to have this done due to the high demand on our local Obstetric Gynaecology Services. He also believes that it is a great educational opportunity for our Current Registrars and those prospective ones.
Dr Amna Salman
Dr Salman completed her MBBS in Pakistan in 2005, she continued to work in the region for 3 years before moving to Australia in 2008. She began working in Eastern Health in 2010 for four years. In 2014 she began her GP training. Amna has special interest in women’s and children health, as well as Chronic disease management. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading and travelling (and food!)

We are a newly renovated computerised practice using Best Practice with 10 consulting rooms and 1 multi-bed treatment rooms with equipment. We also have 3 Nursing Consult Rooms and 4 Allied Health Rooms along with in house Pathology.

Public holiday work
Clinic is closed on Public Holidays, however if it is the Registrar’s rostered Public Holiday on call they will be responsible for the on call phone which may result in out of hours consultations if deemed required or call out to Nursing Homes.
Out of practice visits
We do have quite a few Nursing home patients in our local Nursing Homes. 2 of our Senior Doctors have set up regular routine weekly visits at both Murray House Nursing home and Bupa Nursing home which are well supported by the Nursing home staff. Our Registrars have the chance to accompany one of our Doctors to these visits as a learning exercise and will be asked to cover at times of leave.
It is preferred that our Registrar’s have their own vehicles and a licence
There are 2 local hospitals, one is Mildura Base Hospital and the other Mildura Health Private Hospital. Our Practices have no current affiliations with either of them.
