We have a registered Division 1, nurse whom works at the the practice four days per week, supporting our Doctors in providing Best practice Health care.
Our Nurse is experienced in all facets of General practice Nursing, & is available to provide support for minor procedures, & recall of patient. Also available to assist with providing proactive health care & education to patients & Doctors.
Kyneton Medical Centre takes a collaborative approach to the Health care we provide, & our Nurse Liz plays an integral role with assisting Doctors when engaging Allied Health to support the care of our patients.

Kyneton Medical Centre has three supervisors, Dr. Christopher Priest, Dr. Karen O’Brien & Dr Timothy Stobie.
Each of our Doctors have varying special interests which include, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Palliative Care, Aviation Medicals.
Our Supervisors are open to work with Registrars whom may have a particular interest to help develop & enhance their learning at the practice.
General Facilities / Services
Kyneton Medical Centre is located in the heart of Kyneton & is situated in a Heritage Bluestone building.
We have a fully equipped procedure room, off street parking at the rear of the building & pathology is offered onsite, Mon-Fri 8Am-1PM.
Practice recently purchased an a joining property & is currently expanding to offered additional allied health services, by mid 2019, in house.

|College Requirements||Full time training requires 38 hrs per week employed averaged over 4 weeks. Less than 38 hours per week employed is part time training.|

Kyneton Medical Centre does offer Home Visits when required to our patients when and if required.
The township of Kyneton has two nursing Homes, Ray M Begg & Bupa, regular fortnightly visits to both nursing homes is required as part of the Registrar’s role at Kyneton Medical Centre.
A Registrar will be required to see patients at the Kyneton District Hospital at times.
Kyneton District Hospital, services the greater Kyneton district community, a registrar is required to become Credentialed with the Hospital. The Hospital offers low level care, & a registrar is not required to join an ‘on-call roster’, for the local Hospital.
No Hospital on-call is required, however there is an expectation to visit patients if required at the Hospital from time to Time.
