Anglesea Medical

Anglesea Medical consists of a highly motivated and trained team of GPs, Nurses and Support Staff providing comprehensive, professional and compassionate evidence-based healthcare that seeks to empower people to take control of their health.

All of our doctors are specialist General Practitioners who have completed or are training towards a fellowship through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Our Doctors live in the area and all spend time in the great outdoors pursuing various sports and activities along the gorgeous Surfcoast.

The practice has run at our location since 1993, in July 2019 we formed the new business entity of Anglesea Medical owned and operated by Dr Skye Hueneke, Dr David Corbet and Dr Stuart Jones. We continue to provide the same high quality health care services from within the Barwon Health Community Health Centre and have a close working relationship with the Allied Health clinicians who work at the same location.

Anglesea Medical is a private mixed-billing general practice. Our staff feel honored to have the opportunity to practice in the small rural community, assisting the local patients with their healthcare needs.

Our practice prides itself as being a quality teaching practice, and partners with the local Universities to assist in training our next generation of medical professionals. We regularly host nursing students and GP training students to further their learning experience. Welcome questions and queries, to ensure that not only are you the right fit for the practice but we are the right fit for you.

Located between Bellbrae and Aireys Inlet we are surrounded by some of the best beaches and walking tracks. There are not many practices that can say they are lucky enough to be able to walk the the waterline on their lunch break – less than 10 minutes and your feet are literally in the water!
