RACGP PEP in partnership with MCCC
MCCC are pleased to be supporting the RACGP in the delivery of the Practice Experience Program (PEP), a self-directed education program designed to support non-vocationally registered (non-VR) doctors on their journey to RACGP Fellowship.
Visit RACGP PEP for information on how apply to the Standard Stream and the Specialist Stream.
The PEP Standard Stream is the pathway to Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP) for non-VR doctors who do not hold specialist qualifications. Allocation of places will be informed by factors including practice location and years of Australian general practice experience (GPE). Please note the program is designed for doctors working in MMM2 to MMM7 areas.
The PEP Specialist Stream is the pathway to Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP) for international medical graduates (IMGs) with overseas specialist qualifications. It replaces the Specialist Recognition Program (SRP). The RACGP no longer awards Fellowship ad eudum gradum. SIMGs working towards Fellowship on the PEP Specialist Stream will be issued a PEP 3GA provider number by the RACGP.
From 2022 onwards, it will be compulsory for all doctors to complete an RACGP approved program in order to be eligible to sit the RACGP exams.
