Withdrawals during the placement process
A registrar/practice may withdraw from the placement process but must advise all parties they have interviewed with or have booked to interview with, as well as MCCC, of their intention to withdraw from the process. All parties should be notified immediately. Please refer to last point above.
Withdrawals after the placement process
Once the placement has closed and MCCC notifies all parties of placement outcomes, the placement is considered binding. This is not reliant on a contract between registrar and practice being in place.
If, for any reason, a registrar or practice does not wish to continue with the placement they have been allocated by MCCC, the withdrawing party will not receive a placement by MCCC for that same term or advertised vacancy.
