1. National Registrar Survey

National Registrar Survey

MCCC GP Training is committed to continuous improvement in the training of general practitioners. Each year The Australian Government commissions an external reserach company to conduct a survey to find out information on GP registrars’ level of satisfaction with their training, regional training organisations (RTO) and career. The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) has again been appointed to conduct the survey this year.

The National Registrar Survey (NRS) for 2020 is now open until November 30, 2020 and participation is by link sent from ACER. Registrars should check their email for an invitation to complete the survey.

We strongly encourage all eligible registrars to participate in this survey, which takes around 10 minutes to complete. A series of questions has been added this year around the support received during the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact on GP training.

The NRS is a survey of all GP registrars training on the AGPT program Australia-wide. It helps assure the quality of the program and provides information to the Department of Health, RTOs and colleges to monitor and improve registrars’ education, training and experience.

The results from the 2019 NRS are available here.
