MCCC GP Training selection process – stage three 2017 AGPT applications
Registrar selection by MCCC GP Training will be based on two key factors:
- Score from the National Assessment process – Multiple Mini-Interview and the Situational Judgement Test.
- Completion of an “Application to train with MCCC” in which applicants will be asked to preference a MCCC sub-region of their choice and demonstrate their commitment to:
- the region covered by MCCC GP Training
- diversity of experience
- working in rural general practice (applicable to Rural Pathway registrars only)
MCCC Pre match offers
MCCC is committed to ensuring that areas of workforce shortage are supported in both rural and urban areas.
AGPT 2017 applicants who indicate an interest in working in MCCC nominated workforce shortage areas and agree to work in these areas for a minimum six month period, will have the opportunity of interviewing with practices in these areas during the stage three application period.
If the interview is successful and the National Assessment Score is appropriate, applicants may be offered a MCCC pre-match to ensure placement in the 2017 AGPT intake. MCCC GP will advise shortlisted applicants of the available pre match locations at the time they are shortlisted.
