Cultural Educator (Aboriginal Designated Position)

We are expanding our team and are inviting applications from suitably experienced members of our local Aboriginal Communities to join us as a Cultural Educator.

Cultural Educators will actively participate in a range of activities to promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Training to ACCHOs, RTOs, Registrars, medical students and other groups. They will work in partnership with Medical Educators and regional operational staff to support the delivery of education programs for General Practice Registrars.

Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer (Aboriginal Designated Position)

We are recruiting for the position of Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer and are inviting applications from suitably experienced members of our local Aboriginal Communities.

The Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer will form strong working relationships with relevant community groups, health professionals, organisations and agencies. The role with work with MCCC’s Cultural Educators and medical educators to develop, design and deliver MCCC’s cultural education program. They will establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Aboriginal Medical Services and other external stakeholders.

Education Program Support Officer (EPSO)

The EPSO is a key member of our Training Operations Team with high attention to detail, a focus on data quality and a commitment to service delivery.

Primary responsibilities of this role:

  • Coordinate and manage workshops for registrars, supervisors, practice manager and medical educators
  • Support the Education Development and Delivery Team and Medical Educators in the region to implement the Education Program to registrars
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with all stakeholders including registrars, medical educators, practices and operations staff
  • Perform administrative functions as required including tracking attendance, reporting and responding to stakeholder enquiries.

Research Support Officer – Project

The Research Support Officer will be the key administrative contact for the Victorian Rural Generalist Program (VRGP) Evaluation Project Team. This project will undertake a comprehensive evaluation of the Victorian Department of Health’s funded Rural Generalist Advanced Skills training posts in Obstetrics.

Primary responsibilities of this role:

  • Provide administrative support including coordination of meetings for VRGP Project evaluation activities
  • Support, assist and maintain regular communication with the VRGP Research Project team and Reference Group
  • Preparation and sharing of internal and external research resources
  • Provide any administrative support requested in the preparation of VRGP ethics application and reports
  • Maintain Resource library to support the project
